I am Kelly Carmichael Booz and I am proud to represent you on the Alexandria School Board in District B for the 2022-2024 term. 

 

I served on the Alexandria School Board from 2013-2015 and I have more than 20 years of experience working in education with civic education organizations, teacher unions, and working nationally with educators, parents, support staff, and more than 400 education organizations to help strengthen public education.

 

This is such a crucial moment for our children as we work to ensure long-term learning and social-emotional recovery from the impact of this disruptive and tragic pandemic.

We have so much work to do for our students and I know our 2022-2024 School Board and City Council will work together to find common ground and do what’s best for our kids, schools and community. 

 

But we can’t do this alone.
